Agisoft Metashape (formerly PhotoScan) is a stand-alone software product that performs photogrammetric processing of digital images and generates 3D data on rooms for use in GIS applications, cultural heritage documentation and visual effects production, as well as indirect measurements of objects of various sizes. Cleverly implemented digital photogrammetry technology, applied by computer vision methods, leads to an intelligent automated process system, which on the one hand can process a novice in photogrammetry, but on the other hand can offer much to a specialist who can adapt the workflow to very specific tasks and data types.
